Active Sailing Trip, Greek Islands

Have a Sail with us, you will be surprised how quickly become friends with dolphins...

We are having a discovery sail in the traditional way between the 20th June and 11th July from Porto Heli to Rhodes.

Take advantage of this, if

• you want to have your first sailing experience,
• you are a beginner sailor,
• you are an existing sailor who is looking for a different sailing experience,
Father Murphy is the boat for you with its relaxed atmosphere. You will gain much experience from Hansi the captain and be impressed with his knowledge and great sense of humour in a friendly environment.

Our discovery plan, 2008

20 June Porto Heli

(flying dolphin & bus are available from Piraeus, Athens)
We will visit the bays around Porto Heli for relaxing days in the sun with warm azure water.

30 June Poros

We will explore the island, spend a relaxing night, having a nice big breakfast the next day.

1 or 2 July Departing from Poros to Kythnos Island

Our adventure starts today. We will sail as long as we have the right wind direction. We will set foot on the island all together for the first time and enjoy our experience here. Who knows what is waiting for us?? We will find out only when we arrive.

3 or 4 July Paros

We continue to explore this island as well. Is there any similarity or differences between the islands? We will jump in the water at every single opportunity.

4, 5 or 6 July Amorgos

The captain is also exploring all these islands and the waters in between. Thank god, we are not living in Captain Nelsons’ time. We have a very good navigation program and map on the computer.

Astypalaia

We don’t use the engine much, therefore we are friendly with the dolphins who are happy to swim with us in the same direction.

Perhaps, this is the prettiest island with the traditional houses having blue shutters and doors, who knows?

Gyali or Nisyros

We learned to be a team enjoying being with friends who maybe speak a different language. Sailing is a great way to get to know others and learn about ourselves.

Here we are in Symi

Maybe nobody will want to leave this island, which is known as the most romantic. However we have to be in Rhodes latest 11th July. If you wish to remain here, we will pick you up on our way back in the autumn!

11th of July, Rhodes

The day when everything comes to an end, even if it would be nice to continue. It is time to say “good-bye” after an energetic breakfast all together.
