Father Murphy was originally built at the Gdynska Shipyards in Poland in 1968. She was constructed and certified under norkse veritas as a deep sea fishing trawler, which she successfully operated as for 25 years. In October 2000, her present owner purchased the vessel and over the next 3 years, after extensive renovation & redesign to veritas standards, Hansi produced Father Murphy as she is today: a traditional Topsail Schooner.
She is a comfortable and safe ocean going vessel offering 17 berths in 5 triple cabins and 1 master stateroom, and a spacious saloon with bar and fully equipped galley |
